Happy Stewards!

Enjoy hiking in the Preserve

The McDowell Sonoran Conservancy All Trails Club

The Conservancy’s All Trails Club (ATC) is designed to help stewards explore all all of the 170+ miles of trails of the McDowell-Sonoran Preserve while promoting healthy physical activity.  The program also allows you to connect with other stewards and the visiting public during these adventures.

Here's how it works:

  1. Explore Preserve trails by foot, bike, and/or horse.
  2. Based on the honor system, record your progress on the program’s ATC worksheet.
  3. Once you have achieved 'All Trails' status, submit your completed spreadsheet to Kathy.

For this accomplishment, you will be recognized with:

  1. an announcement in the Conservancy’s weekly email,
  2. a notation in The Preserver, and
  3. a Certificate “suitable for framing” that will be presented at our MSC Annual Steward Recognition Event.

We will also award the "Best of 2015" for the following accomplishments achieved within the Preserve:

  1. most total miles hiked,
  2. most total miles biked,
  3. most total miles by horse.

By Fall 2015, we’re looking at an additional 20 miles of trails to be added to the program.  But the good news is that miles covered in 2010 and through 2014 can be counted retroactively in this program.
