Foundation support helps the Conservancy provide a unique living classroom for kids to explore
The Preserve improves quality of life in a variety of ways, including: reducing the urban heat island effect, improving air quality, providing a place for recreation and respite, as well as providing a home to a number of birds and animals.
Our Foundation Partners recognize that the natural areas we protect create quality of life benefits for the community. They understand that education and recreation programs offered by the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy strengthen the community and focus attention on the necessity of preserving wilderness areas that contribute so significantly to our lifestyle.
