Children need the physical, mental and social benefits of a healthy, active outdoor lifestyle. Photo by Michael Brace
When kids are in nature they learn about our community’s heritage and the importance of caring for the environment.
Do you have an event that’s bringing family to town and would you like to show them the spectacular natural beauty of this place you call home? Are you a youth group leader and need a way to connect kids with the outdoors? Discover the hidden treasures of the Preserve on private tours for families, scout groups, and more. Tours are available from early October through mid-April.
We offer three interpretive trails that are ADA approved:
The Bajada Nature Trail is located at Gateway Trailhead,
The Kovach Family Nature Trail is located at Lost Dog Trailhead, and
The Jane Rau Interpretive Trail is located at Brown's Ranch Trailhead.
For more information and scheduling, contact Don Brockway at email@example.com
These interpretive tours are suitable for ages 6 and up with a maximum group of 20 participants.
Tours last approximately one hour.
3-4 week prior notice is required to schedule any tours.
