Join us for our 4th virtual symposium, where we will discuss the effects of extreme heat and fire on the Preserve and Sonoran Desert. The past year the Preserve has seen both, and through our ecological monitoring projects we have witnessed the effects. We have also worked alongside partners and students to begin restoring the land, and started critical conversations with the public about human impacts on Preserve animals. Come hear Field Institute staff, Citizen Scientists, and partners discuss how extreme heat and fire play out in the Preserve and broader Sonoran Desert, and the role we can all play in helping.
